Residential Snow Removal
While you can customize any snow removal package, our standard residential service includes snow removal of your driveway. If desired, we can tailor a program to handle all of your walkway and porch needs as well.
Packages Offered
BASIC SERVICE (BASIC PLAN 5cm)
Basic Plan Includes: Snow removal for snowfalls of 5cm or more, includes removing ridge from city plow during operations & also includes (1) revisit within 24hrs of storm ending to remove any plow ridges left by the city plow.
PREMIUM SERVICE (PREMIUM PLAN 2.5cm)
Premium Plan Includes: Basic service and additional snow removal for snowfalls of 2.5cm to 4.9cm, unlimited revisits for city plow ridges & drifting snow.
Premium Service is perfect for those who experience the city street plows going by often. Those who have a city sidewalk across their drive will recognize the benefit of this service. All you have to do is call and we will take care of it! Please note that Premium Service is not a priority service.
Time of Plow
All equipment and hand shovel crews for RESIDENTIAL sites are dispatched upon Environment Canada live forecaster confirmation of 5 cm accumulation. Dispatch time may vary due to unforeseen events such as exceptional storm conditions, traffic, reduced visibility etc.
Orleans Snow Removal
For residential residents of Orleans, these packages are available to purchase online. Otherwise, fill out our free quote form.
Payment Plans
The following payment options are available to you:
– Make (1) payment for the full amount of the contract
– Make (2) payments: Pay half now and half January 1st*
*If paying by cheque, both cheques must be sent in with your contract for service to begin.
Sky High provides salting and de-icing agents for both residential areas. Our first priority is to maintain safe surfaces. We provide all of our customers with consistent and quality service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
COMPLETE SEASON COVERAGE
Salt & Grit is applied upon a freezing rain event occurring or forecasted through Environment Canada. In addition Sky High monitors your site every 48-72 hours to ensure that icy conditions have not accumulated, if and when icy conditions are noticed, crews apply Salt & Grit as required.
AUTOMATIC ON FREEZING RAIN
Salt & Grit is applied automatically upon a freezing rain event occurring or forecasted through Environment Canada.
SALT BOXES
Salt boxes by walkways and entrances can be provided if required. Refills can be provided for customers with exisiting salt boxes.
Both commercial and private residents have access to Salt & Sand Services tailored to address any freezing rain or icy condition. Choose from applications automatically on freezing rain, on demand or our very popular Complete Season Coverage. Having a comprehensive package which includes Complete Season Coverage brings crews to your site several times a week to monitor for icy conditions and applications as required. Those who subscribe enjoy a virtually ice-free site.
Snow Relocation
During the winter season, large amounts of snow can accumulate, preventing easy access to entryways, driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other areas.
Sky High provides one-stop winter service solutions to provide you with complete snow plowing, removal, and relocation services. We offer snow relocation services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our team members will visit the site prior to work to inspect the area and to plan well ahead so that we can offer you the best and most convenient service.
